Stuck in a never-ending rut
by somebody inhave any of you been stuck in a rut when filling out a job application when it came to filling out that dreaded portion that requires you to:.
list at least 3 persons who are not related to you who have known you for 5 or more years.. .
it's that moment that you can't list all your "friends" in the borg, because they are not going to give you a true reference regarding what kind of person you are.

Shunned? You are better off....
by DJ ini have to tell you that if you are currently shunned, although it may be painful....you are actually better off imo.
having had it both ways now, i am convinced that it was less painful than being halfway accepted (as i am now because my dad is sick).
my conscience is clear and it feels so good but at the same time i am in more pain than when i was shunned.

I just lossed my Dad in October, and I still hurt. The worst part is, we were not close. I don't think you will ever regret taking care of your Dad. It will be your biggest comfort. Ya know what? I bet he knows it too. and appreciates it.

It is terrible to lose family members, and terrible to lose pets. That is so sad.
I remember when I was a teenager, and had to ''go to the meetings'', I was so embarrassed. Leaving home to go, in stupid looking dresses, my bros in suits, and the neighbors playing baseball, and staring at us.... humiliating.
I also remember at that time, an hour seemed like years. I couldn't envision being free. But it will happen. Dont give up, start planning tomorrow today!
So glad to have you here, I look forward to hearing more from you!

by SHUNNED FATHER infor the court hearing on july 17, i need examples of jehovah's witnesses who have kidnapped children out of hospital or not provided essential medical treatment.
this would include children who died for refusing a blood transfusion or needed phychiatric care and commited suicide.

Should "Apostates" Shudder?
by Oroborus21 ini was reviewing the study articles in the may 15, 2003 watchtower.. the first article: "christ speaks to the congregations" is rather hard hitting against (so-called) apostasy and sectarianism.
the conclusion of paragraph 6 says:.
"to maintain the purity of jehovah's worship and to protect the congregation, therefore, they (true christians) do not extend the hand of fellowship to unrepentant apostates.".
